A told story has immediacy and power. It is the most intimate of art forms and can be learned. Beginning with story “sparks,” we will tell our true, personal experiences to an attentive listener, and respond in kind. Speaking aloud and listening sharpens our ears to what is alive in the telling and assists us in crafting the story. Dead wood falls away, new associations rise up, and we discover the story that wants to be told. Every life is a story. What’s yours?
