Festival of Fiction

Instructor(s): Emma Lynge

Code: F17-Y01
Do you love to write? Are there ideas in your head that you can’t wait to get onto paper? Are there stories you are dying to finish but don’t know how? In this class we will learn about all the different elements that you need to create an exciting, well-rounded story. What makes a good character? When do you use dialogue? Should I change points of view? We will spend plenty of time generating ideas for stories with writing prompts and word games as we share with and inspire each other. Each student will receive some individual, specialized instruction dedicated to their own writing style, interests, and editing of stories. At the end of the course, we’ll have an anthology with everyone’s final piece.
