Instructor(s): Peter Lovenheim
Beginner Beginner Beginner

Narrative non-fiction is writing based on fact but built with the traditional elements of story. It’s a popular genre, allowing writers to observe the world, explore what they’re curious about, and then transform their observations into a compelling narrative to engage and challenge the reader. In this two-day workshop, students will learn and practice the craft and see how to apply it across forms such as personal narrative and memoir. Students may bring one work in progress—up to five double-spaced pages—for discussion and evaluation
