Instructor(s): Private: Joshua Bloodworth Rashida Burch-Washington
Over the course of this week-long class, students transform into cast and crew to make their own short movie based on a Newbery Medal-winning book. You will learn how to run cameras, set up lights, operate audio equipment, direct, and edit. Oh, did we mention you’ll be the writers and stars of the movie too? We’ll have a red carpet premiere for family and friends on Friday and the finished movie will be submitted to the 90-Second Newbery Film Festival held in New York City. Find out more about the film fest at jameskennedy.com/90-second-newbery.
