Frank De Blase
In his tenure as senior music critic at City Newspaper for the past 15 years, Frank De Blase has been a three-time AAN (Association of Alternative Newsweeklies) award winner for excellence in music journalism. De Blase is an in-demand freelance writer with regular features in national publications like Temptress, Rebel Ink, Urban Ink, Burlesker, and was recently invited to do a monthly column in Crimespree Magazine. With an affinity for the classic pulp/noir writing style, De Blase’s fiction strolls down the dark side of the street. He has sat on writing panels at Noircon in Philadelphia, and Bouchercon in Albany. His debut novel, Pine Box for a Pin-Up, was published by Down & Out Books.
