Mary Anne Donovan

Mary Anne Donovan has been making her way as a freelance writer since 1989 and knows firsthand the ups and downs of trying to make a living in that marketplace while supporting a family. Her vast array of experience includes feature writing, technical writing, instructional design for all types of media (including the Web) and has co-authored and published Retraining the Harness Racehorse, the only book of its kind on the market. In addition, she is an adjunct professor at St. John Fisher and Medaille Colleges. Her publication credits include The Rochester Business Journal, Writer’s Digest, Equus, WorkForce, and many others.
