Instructor Bios Brad Van AukenBrad Van Auken: A native Rochesterian, Brad runs his own consulting firm and had written three published books. He has lived in New York City, Boston, and Kansas City, among other places and has traveled extensively throughout the world. He is an avid reader with a home library of more than 5,000 books. His eclectic interests range from architecture, urban design, and dendrology, to cosmology, physics, and metaphysics. Brad practices what he preaches. He lives a fulfilling life born of much forethought. The workshop he teaches at Writers & Books is based partly on workshops that he has taken at the Center for Creative Leadership, Esalen Institute, Harvard Business School, and All Souls Unitarian Universalist Church. He has degrees from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Harvard Business School. At this stage in his life he is most interested in empowering himself and others to bring about positive change in the world. Upcoming Classes
