“2 Pages/2 Characters” CompetitionWinners have been selected for this year's 2 Pages/2 Characters program. Here are the winning titles (and authors) for 2 Pages/2 Voices: Contest Winners ReadingDate: February 4, Monday The winning plays in Writers & Books/Geva Theatre Center’s 5th annual Staged in W&B new Performance Space the winning scripts will come alive through dramatic performances given by highly experienced local actors under the Direction of Jean Ryon of Geva Theatre Center. These original works, created by authors from the Greater Rochester area, will be presented for their first time on any stage. This is a wonderful opportunity to see and hear some of the community’s wittiest and most original dramatic creations. This is the fifth annual “2 Pages/2 Characters” competition, created by Geva Theatre Center and Writers & Books to encourage and support playwriting in our region. We’re pleased to announce our annual “2 Pages/2 Characters” playwriting program. Writers of all levels of writing experience are invited to submit a short play to the competition. Each play should be limited to no more than 2 pages, and involve no more than two characters. Writers may submit more than one play. Name, address, phone number and e-mail should be included for contact. Font size should be at least 11 points.
