Everyone loves movies, and everyone has hated a few of them. What do movie critics look for on the big screen? Why do they seem to notice things that most of us miss? Does writing reviews change forever the way you see movies? Jack Garner, nationally syndicated film critic for Gannett News Service, will guide you into the exciting world of movie reviews. He’ll help you to train your critical eye and think about issues of fairness, judgment, and quality. He’ll relate numerous tricks of the trade. You will attend a movie on your own time, then write a review under Jack’s guidance, and share it with the class.
