Play Development

SA9-D02
6 Thursdays, 6-8 p.m.
May 7 through June 11
$115 W&B members / $120 general public
Instructor: Dan Kennedy

Playwrights need to hear their work read with actors and in front of an audience in order to know what works and what doesn’t work. This intermediate playwriting course is designed to give a playwright that feedback. Students are asked to work on a one act play (about 10 minutes long). The play will have 2 characters. Then, actors will be brought in to read the pieces on the final night, and the playwrights will have the option to have their work read in front of an audience.
