Riverhead Books donates LFL to Writers & Books

Rochester, NY – Riverhead Books has graciously donated one of three specially made Little Free Libraries to Writers & Books. The uniquely colored Little Free Library (LFL) came fully stocked with books published through Riverhead.

In celebration of this collaboration, Writers & Books will be having an “unveiling” on August 1st at 4:00 PM. We will be revealing the LFL along with having a small book sale in front of the building. There will be light refreshments and attendees are welcome to take pictures with the LFL as well as in our Poetry Booth. All images will be loaded onto our Facebook page that evening.

Author David Schickler received the Big Pencil award from Writers & Books last year for being an author that has had a significant impact on Rochester readers. David is published through Riverhead Books and suggested Writers & Books as a site for their LFL.

This date/time were picked because it is First Friday and also the perfect time for students getting out of Writers & Books summer program, SummerWrite.
