Debut Novelist Boris Fishman Comes to Rochester
Rochester, NY: Boris Fishman, author of A Replacement Life (recently included on The New York Times 100 Notable Books of 2014) will be in Rochester April 9th – 11th as part of Writers & Books newest community read program, The Debut Novel Series.

“Boris was born in Minsk, Belarus, and immigrated to the United State in 1988 at nine. His journalism, essays, and criticism have appeared in The New Yorker, The New York Times Magazine and Book Review, The New Republic, The Nation, The London Review of Books, The Wall Street Journal, and other publications. “
Boris will be giving several readings while in Rochester:
Public Reading and Book Signing: April 9th – 7:30 PM at School of the Arts auditorium (45 Prince St) $10 GP, $8 W&B and JCC members, seniors and students
The Publishing Process Talk: April 10th – 7:30 PM at Writers & Books (740 University Ave), Free, but reservation required (call 585-473-2590 ext 107)
Writers’ Master Class: April 11th – 10:00 AM – Noon at Writers & Books (740 University Ave) $40 GP, $35 W7B members
