With schools temporarily closed, many teens are learning from home for the first time. Now, young creative writers can sign up for a virtual class conducted through Zoom, available in one-month increments.

The heart of Write On For Homeschoolers is a facilitated weekly workshop in which each participant feels encouraged and supported by peers, while at the same time engaging with constructive suggestions for growth. Short lessons connect current student work to relevant published writing, classic literary structures, and mechanics. Sessions include writing prompts, games, and time to work on projects. Content is student-directed, so expect lots of creativity!

Write On for Homeschoolers

We live to create at Write On. Stories and skits go from idea to ready-to-share as we take them through the 5-step writing process. Classes include writing prompts or games, time to work on projects, and a little break to play (outdoors, when the weather allows). Content will be student-directed, so expect lots of creativity! Please send students with writing materials, a snack, and a water bottle.
