Beginner Screenwriting Online Workshop

This course will cover the basics of writing a screenplay. The class will read screenplays, study classic film clips, and discuss the foundations of screenwriting. Beginning screenplay writers will study the fundamentals of writing a screenplay. Students will engage with such issues as character development, dialogue, structure, narrative progression, and what to do with a finished screenplay. Students should use this course as a step towards creating the first draft of a screenplay.
