Unlearning Racism

March 23 @ EST 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free – $20

Join authors Bill Wynne and John Strazzabosco for a guided discussion of racial biases and the harms they cause.

Bill Wynne is a first-time author and greater Rochester-based white antiracist activist. The experiential insights in his memoir Understanding and Combating Racism: My Path from Oblivious American to Evolving Activist are premised on the human networks and friendships he developed during his business career and in subsequent work in the nonprofit sector.

John Strazzabosco is the author of Ninety Feet Under—What Poverty Does to People. He currently is at work on a manuscript about racism. Wade Norwood, CEO of Common Ground Health, writes, “Ninety Feet Under brings home the undeniable truth that poverty simply overwhelms. We all need to understand this message and embrace the urgent need to address this crisis. John’s phenomenal work is an important step on that journey.”
