Blogging 101

Do you have a lot to say on a topic and want to go beyond just posting comments on Facebook? Or perhaps you want to promote your expertise as a way to gain new business or new clients? Blogging is a great way to do these things. Jane Sutter, owner of Sutter Communications and an experienced blogger, book author and former Democrat and Chronicle editor, will teach you keys to successful blogging. Course will cover a variety of topics including writing a mission statement for your blog; tips on writing an effective blog and headline; how to use social media and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to attract followers to your blog; ethics of blogging; and how to get started using a free blogging service such as WordPress.
