Book Launch: Sarah Collins: Recovery from Unusual Attitudes

May 14, 2022 @ EST 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Free – $20

Using flight as a metaphor, Sarah Collins’ debut poetry collection, Recovery From Unusual Attitudes, details her personal journey with serious mental illness and radical conversion to Christianity. From pain to purpose, fear to freedom, hatred of God to healing by His grace, Recovery From Unusual Attitudes is a raw story of redemptive hope.

Sarah Collins is a copywriter and poet. Inspired by her personal journey with mental illness and radical conversion to Christianity, Recovery From Unusual Attitudes is Sarah’s debut poetry collection. She was born and raised in Central New York to Jamaican parents who emigrated to the United States in the early 1980s. Sarah studied Graphic Design at the Rochester Institute of Technology. She lives in the Greater Rochester Area with her husband Ed and their sweet, saucy house rabbits, Buddy and Birdie.

Sarah Collins will be in conversation with Ebony Nicole Smith.

Ebony Nicole Smith is the founder and CEO of Ebony Nicole Smith Consulting, LLC, a boutique writing, and publishing company based in Rochester, New York. She is a 2015 ROC Awards nominee for Author of the Year and Mayoral Recognition for Small Business in Rochester NY 2020.
