Disrupted Narratives: Telling a Story Slant

March 23, 2019 @ EST 10:00 am

Poetry is a concise form, one enacts an experience of something. What about the narratives that are more difficult to tell? What about grief, or disruption, or alterations, or marginalized experiences? Enter the disrupted form! In this class, we’ll look at various craft techniques that do exactly that. We’ll discuss them each, make a study of supplied poems in said categories, and then create our own.

See July Westhale read on March 22 at 7pm!
