Finishing Touches Fiction Workshop

4 Mondays, August 5—August 26, 7pm—9pm

This workshop aims at going beyond the basics of editing your writing. Through close reading, dissection, and discussion of student and classic works of literature, we’ll learn how to sharpen our work. Discover how to develop your voice, keep your reader engaged, and polish out theme in this four-session workshop. Once we’ve honed these finishing touches, we will also discuss strategies for sending out work. Students should be prepared to share a 10-15 page sample of writing with the class.
