In this collaborative experience with Flower City Arts Center, participants will create their own fictional stories with a skilled writer, then learn how to create their own black- and- white photographs to illustrate their writing. Participants will enjoy craft lessons in setting, character, and story arc; gain hands-on experience using a professional lighting studio; learn how to photograph with a 35mm B&W film camera; and create their own photographic prints in a darkroom. By the end of camp, they will have created a collaborative book to take home with them! No prior experience necessary. The course will take place at Writers & Books and Flower City Arts Center. Details will be provided after registration.
