Gell Bootcamp

June 29, 2018 - June 30, 2018

$350

In this special overnight course at Gell: A Finger Lakes Creative Retreat, students will generate new work while enjoying the bucolic setting that our rural retreat center has to offer. Come on Friday, leave on Saturday. This is a generative class open to ALL levels, beginning or advanced, and perfect for any writer looking for a one-of-a-kind opportunity to mingle in the outdoors with their fellow writers (and instructors). Students may bring their own tent to sleep on the lawn, or they can sleep on one of the cots provided in the Gleason Lodge. All meals and drinks will be provided.

Instructors include: Ralph Black, Sarah Freligh, & Anne Panning

Ralph Black has published a collection of poetry: Turning Over the Earth, from Milkweed Editions, and a chapbook, The Apple Psalms. He is the recipient of the Anne Halley Poetry Prize from The Massachusetts Review and the Chelsea Poetry Prize. Her work has appeared in Sun Magazine, Hotel Amerika, BOAAT Journal, Rattle, on Writer’s Almanac, and anthologized in the 2011 anthology Good Poems: American Places.
