Getting Started as a Freelance Writer

Getting paid to write sounds like an exciting and fairly easy thing to do – but it takes more than good writing skills and imagination, and there are pitfalls to avoid and options to explore. Students will hear from a widely published freelance writer/editor about all aspects of freelancing. Students will learn about important characteristics for freelance success, finding work that pays, setting rates, getting paid, owning your work, promoting yourself, avoiding problems and more.
