Gods, Heroes, and Beasts: Fabulous Mythic Theatre (August 12 – August 16)

(AFTERNOONS: for ages 8-11) Come on a journey to explore the larger than life, super-powered gods, heroes, and beasts of many cultures such as Celtic, Eastern Indian, Norse, African, and Asian. We will share stories from Korwin Briggs’ Gods and Heroes and enjoy flipping through the Myth Match: A Fantastical Flipbook of Extraordinary Beasts. Learn about dialogue and story line. With your team make your mythic characters come alive through their words and actions. Create a humorous or melodramatic skit from a mythic story. Play drama games. Choose a culture. Create a mythic poster. Share your mythic adventure skit and poster with family and friends on the last day.
