I Wonder: Exploring Eternal Questions

August 13 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every day that begins at 9:00am, repeating until August 17, 2018

Ages: 12-14

Do you enjoy arguing . . . in defense of your ideas? Are you endlessly curious? What about searching for what lies beneath the surface? If so, this is the camp for you! Become a modern-day philosopher, learning how to debate and write creatively. Your personal journal will help capture your impressions and refine your philosophy. Class activities include invigorating discussions, meaningful writing prompts, all in the agora-like setting of ancient Greece. Our experience this year will be enhanced by time spent at the Baobab Cultural Center, W&B’s next door neighbor. On the last day, we invite parents to join our agora as equals. This year’s class is in loving memory of Claire Allen and her significant impact and contributions over two previous years.
