Intermediate/Advanced Poetry Online

On this six-week online journey, our community of writers will be concerned foremost with crafting lucid, good poems—poems filled with delight and power. Participants will produce a poem per week and will also give brief feedback to classmates. This class will focus on generative work, with comments addressing strengths and giving suggestions toward later revision. Twenty-minute writing prompts will jump-start your process, and sample poems and craft essays will help direct weekly writing.
