Mini 9: Improv for Writers

Never taken a writing workshop before? Want to try something new? Thinking about taking a longer class? These fun, low-cost sessions are a good way to meet our instructors, share with fellow students, and get writing! These classes have been popular, so register early to get a spot!

Improvisor, columnist, and award-winning freelance writer Joanne Brokaw is the author of “What The Dog Said,” a collection of her newspaper columns. A memoir about her improv journey, tentatively titled “Yes And,” will be available this spring (both from WordCrafts Press). She leads improv workshops for kids and adults, performs regularly at Focus Theater with her improv team Larceny Seance, and is half of the comedy improv duo, A Happy Accident, which performed nightly at the 2018 Rochester Fringe Festival. You can learn more at www.joannebrokaw.com.
