Poetry Reading for Fiction Writers
August 7, 2018 @ EST 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
William Carlos Williams said that poetry is a machine made out of words, but maybe poetry is just a prime vehicle for showing how all writing is a machine. This course will examine key tools in the poet’s toolbox (syntax, line, sound play) and explore how poetry’s lessons can be incorporated into prose writing. The course will be half reading-based and half workshops.
If you would like to make a request for any accommodation, please email us at accommodation@wab.org at least 10 days prior to the event or workshop.
