Learn about sound imagineering and imagineer poems that can rock, dance, and sing to the beat! We’ll read poetry with sounds we hear made in the world around us from people, animals, objects, robots, and vehicles. We’ll explore rhythms and syllables that vibrate, ring and resonate; learn about sound effects in letters, syllables, words, and phrases; and make our poems come alive. With a team, read your raucous or lyrical poems; try musical accompaniments; and paint water-sculpted Lake Ontario rocks to illustrate one of your poems. With the camp, create a rocking poetry production for family and friends to enjoy.
