If you’re passionate about reading and writing fiction, or maybe you’re just looking for a little feedback, this course is for you. Through the analysis of character, voice, plot, and narrative flow, you will learn how to effectively put your creative ideas on paper. You can look forward to thoughtful, engaging class discussions on the craft of fiction and how to strengthen your writing through close reading and self-editing. The majority of class time centers on the critique and analysis of student work; accordingly, every participant is expected to share a piece of their writing (up to 12 double spaced pages) for the class to read and edit. The last class will allow each student the opportunity to share their work with a public audience.
