An evening of music inspired by poetry, poetry inspired by music – from the Renaissance to the present day, including musical settings of poems, contemporary improvisation (musicians responding in real time to text that is being read), and a few musical haiku. Artists include poet Bart White (Just Poets), saxophonist Nicki Roman, oboist Terry Smith, composer Linda Josephs, and other Ad Hoc Music collaborators.
