Workshopping the Short story

A creative writing workshop dedicated to the middle child of the creative writing world: the short story. Come with your manuscripts. Bring your stories in need of endings. Show us your characters wanting for dimension. Lay your troubles at our feet. Our work will be to dive into one another’s work; provide deep, thoughtful critiques; and leave at the end of five sessions with stories ready for prime time. We’ll discuss issues of craft, style, plot, and form. A finished—or developed—story is not a requirement, but is recommended before the class begins. “The best instructor I have ever had here at W&B.
