World Building (July 15 – July 19)

(MORNINGS: for ages 12-14) Dragon riders! Snow storms on Jupiter! Join us for an exploration of surprising worlds, from fantasy to science fiction and everything in between. Learn new perspectives from which to build in-depth worlds in your creative writing. Together we will investigate classic tales of unconventional peoples and how stories are told. Every student will create the building blocks for a fictional world, which could include a map, “rules” for the world, characters, illustrations, and the beginnings of stories. We’ll share our creations with family and friends on Friday!
