Writing About Trauma

Most people who write memoir have faced events in their lives that hurt them and perhaps left them emotionally scarred. This class will teach you how your brain works, how putting words to experiences rewires the way memories are stored, and why applying the craft of writing restores well-being. How do you write about the traumas in your life in a way that is helpful to both you and the reader? A huge body of research shows that writing about unresolved traumas actually helps heal body, mind, and soul. You’ll improve your writing as well as your life.
