Writing and Yoga

This autumn writing and mindfulness / yoga workshop is a day-long retreat in the beautiful Finger Lakes. Meditation, walking, gentle yoga, and a spirit of mindfulness will lay the foundation for writing, creativity, contemplation, and optional sharing. Creative writing exercises and specific prompts will provide structure as well as a sense of play. Surrounded by the quiet hills of Naples, we will find our inspiration for writing that day and beyond. Register early – this retreat is limited to 14 people. Please bring a yoga mat, blanket or towel, writing journal, pens, and a bag lunch. You may also want a sweater or sweatshirt if the weather is cool. We will take a one-hour break for lunch. Snacks, tea, and coffee will be provided. All levels welcome and encouraged. No prior yoga or writing experience is required.
