Class Full: Writing Illness

January 10, 2019 @ EST 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

In this class, writers will write about illness (mental, chronic, terminal, and/or invisible) as a means to explore the human condition. Through writing the visceral experience of the body and mind, interrogating what it means to be vulnerable, writers (whether patients, caretakers, or survivors), establish empathy by making art. At the end of five weeks, writers will have completed at least one draft of a piece and generated ideas/drafts for ongoing work.

This class has been filled.
