Writing Rochester’s History
March 12, 2016 @ EST 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
$80
Susan B. Anthony, Frederick Douglass, George Eastman, the beginnings of the Mormon Church, the Burned-Over District, the Erie Canal: the list goes on. The Rochester area is rich in history, and researching and writing about it offers endless opportunities for writers of both fiction and non-fiction. This workshop will discuss the best ways to explore that history, to find and select the most useful and revealing information, and to place it in a readable and salable format.
