Your Story, Your Power: The Right to Write | Ages: 8-13
August 1, 2022 @ EST 9:00 am - August 5, 2022 @ EST 12:00 pm
Free
Exercise your creativity in this exciting week of summer fun at the library! We’ll explore stories from every angle by reading them, telling them, writing them, acting them out, listening for them in music, and finding stories that speak to us on the shelves of the library! Stories connect us to our friends and families, offer us a way to learn about people and cultures different from our own, and allow us to express our own identities. Each day will include a different story-inspired activity, including journal making, art projects, music and dance, theatre and drama, and more! On Friday we’ll show off our creations for family and friends.
