Monday: Comedy Improvisation

Students will learn the basics of improv, acting without a script, through a variety of theatre and comedy improv games such as those featured on, Whose Line is it Anyway? Then they will present some of their favorite games for friends and family at 2:00.

Tuesday: Black Panther & Afrofuturism

April 16 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

We’ll explore the creation of our own Wakandan-based kingdom or “queendom” with inspiration from the Black Panther movie, West African cultures, history, magic, myth, and futuristic technology. We'll create our own story to bring stability and peace to an imaginary dystopian world. Wakanda Forever!

Wednesday: World Building

April 17 @ 9:00 am

We'll explore how to build in-depth worlds in your creative writing. We'll investigate fantasy and classic tales of alternate worlds, then create the building blocks for a fictional world, which could include a map, “rules” for the world, characters, illustrations, and the beginnings of stories!

Thursday: Hogwarts Day One

April 18 @ 9:00 am

Jump into the world of all things Harry Potter! You will make a wand, write for the Daily Prophet, and take your own Hogwarts classes such as Charms, History of Magic, and more!

Friday: Hogwarts Day Two

April 19 @ 9:00 am

Another day immersed in the world of Harry Potter! You will have Hogwarts lessons such as Care of Magical Creatures and Defense Against the Dark Arts, and write for the Daily Prophet. It is not necessary to participate in Day One in order to participate in Day Two!
