(AFTERNOONS: ages 5-7) Rhythm, rhyme, bright descriptions, thoughtful words! Studying poetry can inspire children to love language, help build literacy, and deepen empathy. By reading aloud as a group and studying poetry, children will learn how to express their emotions.
