Verónica is excited to return to Writers & Books after serving as a communications intern in 2022. A recent University of Rochester graduate, she earned a BA with honors in British and American literature, along with a Certificate of Achievement in Literary Translation and a minor in chemistry. Through the Take 5 program, she pursued Latin American studies, and has a passion for 20th–century and contemporary Spanish and Portuguese poetry. A poet, herself, her writing has been recognized through the Joseph O’Connor and Pearl Sperling awards.
