Second Saturday Book Club

Join us for a lively, in-person roundtable conversation on the second Saturday of every month, 11 am – 12 pm. Second Saturday Book Club selections tie to author appearances in our region and are available for purchase from Ampersand Books at a 15% discount. Our peer-facilitated conversations are guided by four questions:

  1. What personal connections did you make to the book; how does it resonate with your own life or experiences?
  2. What surprises or satisfies you about the book’s structure, the author’s strategy?
  3. What is a favorite line or passage and why are you drawn to it?
  4. What do you find challenging or difficult?
