SummerWrite 2020

SummerWrite 2020 registration is now open!

Writers & Books welcomes you to SummerWrite 2020, our 35th season. Many of our tried-and-true camps are returning, and we’re excited to offer new experiences for all age groups across a broad range of topics.

To promote the health and safety of participants and staff, this year, our camps will take place as interactive virtual experiences using Zoom. Our creative, expert teaching artists have been hard at work to ensure that our virtual camps maintain the same high quality learning experiences you've come to expect from SummerWrite.

We've reduced some class times, resulting in lower fees, and a handful of camps have been canceled. If your child is enrolled in a canceled camp, you will have an opportunity to transfer registration to a different class or request a refund. Please hold tight: you'll hear from us with specifics after June 1. Or sign up to receive our weekly e-blast for all our programming news.

We provide scholarships:

We have taken steps to increase access to our scholarship program with an anonymous online application portal that eliminates the “gatekeeper.”
